Installation Guide
- Clean and center. Clean the factory rim using a method approved for its surface and let it dry fully. Test-fit the cover and align all spoke openings and any center marker before securing it.
- Secure temporarily. If the kit instructions call for double-sided tape, apply it only after confirming alignment. Keep adhesive away from controls, seams and the airbag cover.
- Stitch evenly. Follow the supplied stitch pattern, working in short alternating sections. Keep tension even without pulling tightly enough to distort the cover.
- Tuck carefully. Only tuck edges where the kit instructions specify, using the recommended trim tool. Avoid scratching surfaces or obstructing buttons. Do not remove or modify the airbag assembly.
- Finish and inspect. Secure and trim the thread according to the instructions. Inspect the entire rim for loose areas, slipping, exposed thread or interference with controls.
- Check before driving. While safely parked, check that buttons and scroll wheels remain unobstructed and your hands have adequate clearance. If the cover slips or interferes with operation, do not drive until it is corrected by a qualified installer.
